Hello! it's the Outreach Director, My role Is to advise the whole team whilst focusing on the development of MYCCM. I take pride in my commitment to the community to help fight the climate crisis. As mentioned in Alexander's 'Directors Blogs', I will be writing monthly blogs, whilst Alexander's blogs will be focused more on politics and targeted for the attention of adults, my blogs will be about how 'you' the public can get involved, more targeting the attention of youth.
So how can you get involved?
That is a good question. This summer myself and MYCCM will be working closely with the Medway Youth Service to help connect and introduce the youth community our Movement. We will be doing this by attending some of Medway youth services events across the summer and running climate change activities along side their sports activities.
Also in August to further connect youth to our Movement with the help and support of the Medway Youth Service we will be running a meeting this will be taking place in the Wrec Centre in Chatham. Due to covid please contact us for further information about this if you wish to attend (please note this meeting is aimed at the youth community).
If you would like to attend the climate change based activities at the local parks over the summer we will be releasing our time table along side the Medway Youth Service one next week
